At Fabrica, the communication and design research center by Benetton Group, there is an international atmosphere. Earl chair, signed for Piaval by the designer Daniel Rous, furnishes the working spaces of this innovative location, where research and projects about design, graphics, photography, video, music, editorial… are developed by talented young researchers from all over the world. Earl collection is light in its shape, subtle in its depth but highly resistant, it is realized in solid curved beech wood and hides in its simplicity, a careful and complex woodworking, which led its selection for the ADI Design Index 2017, the reward given to the best Italian design. The center, established in Treviso from a vision of Luciano Benetton and Oliviero Toscani, it is based in an elegant villa of the XVII century, renovated and enlarged by the project of the renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando in 2000.
